Testimonials

An amazing stay at an authentic Scottish country estate. It’s not only a marvelous culinary experience. Long walks through the garden with outstanding views to the Loch is a must. John and Eugenia are the perfect hosts, making you feel like part of the family! This is more than just a countryside experience in the heart of Fife County – it’s where golf was born in the 1500s. Don’t miss the Bohórquez Crystal, donated by a famous Spanish Southern Die-Hard Weekend philanthropist, where perfectly crafted gin and tonics are elevated with unique flavors, taking you to a higher state of dance and joy!

Unforgettable days at Lindores House! Landscapes and gardens with centuries-old plants, located very close to Saint Andrews, the birthplace of golf, and the capital, Edinburgh, where you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the surroundings and exciting activities to do with family or friends. You’ll enjoy the best hosts and exquisite local food, prepared by your loving hostess. You’ll definitely come back!

We’ve already been twice and are about to return for a third time with our daughters.
The house transports you to another era; it’s situated in front of a magnificent lake.
Everything you eat is seasonal, grown in their garden. Dishes prepared with partridge, pheasant, roe deer, eggs from their hens, and homemade bread and cakes. Afternoons spent sipping tea and evenings accompanied by wine. It’s always a pleasure to return to Eugenia and John’s home.
